The Sandpoint Story
Sandpoint,
Idaho must be one of the best places to live in the United
States. Idaho was just named the nation’s 8th healthiest state,
Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort had another record year with big
snow all season and named one of Ski Magazine’s Top 25 Ski
Resorts, and, like always, there are a lot of things to do in
Sandpoint. The Wooden Boat Show, ArtWalk, and dozens of other
events will pepper the summer. With vast Lake Pend Oreille,
grand mountains, and a good economy, the press takes notice.
Sandpoint has been called the West’s best small town by Sunset
Magazine, and one of America’s Best Dream Towns by Outside
Magazine, naming Sandpoint the “cool Northwest’s hot property.”
National Geographic called Sandpoint a Top 10 Adventure Town,
plus features in USA Today, Forbes, MSNBC, and Smart Money
Magazine. Perhaps Cabin Life, Cabin Living said it best calling
our community “the quintessential Western outdoor lover’s town.”
